Winsted Corporation partner of WinTech Group

Winsted, the world’s main manufacturer of professional control room consoles, will supply equipment for setting up the Northeastern Command and Control Center. The project’s purpose is to monitor the aims, the assets and the people in real time whilst minimizing the emergency response when the situation requires it.

The advanced technology and the accuracy of the delivered information guarantee that the purpose of founding the Regional Monitoring Centre will be achieved. The operation control center (OCC) will be one of the most advanced centers in the country and will represent one of the most daring projects in the industry of system and security services from Romania.

The initial investment of € 300.000 aims at implementing the most advanced OCC for controlling the Northeastern region in real time and anticipates the current demands of the specialized market. The efficiency of the OCC represents the result of maximizing the processing accuracy of the information from the safety and control terminal systems in one interface only. Communication is done via high-tech technology. Information is processed thoroughly, output data are clear, accurate, because promptitude is essential. The OCC embeds a complete wide range of terminals for the market’s safety, warning and control, facilitating the efficient monitoring of the aims, assets and people, and at the same time reducing the emergency response. The use of the OCC and of the monitoring is for preventive and punitive purposes only. The OCC will be used for the upstream market of security – high-end technology.

The project is addressed both to natural persons and to private and public institutions and will be implemented in cooperation with Oracle Romania.

The pilot project will be initiated at Iasi in May next year, and the official launch will take place in July 2011.
